I qualified from Liverpool University in 1992 and went into general practice after completing vocational training. In 1997 I gained a Master’s Degree in Periodontology from Liverpool University where I subsequently became a part time lecturer in the periodontology department.
In 2000 after passing the Membership in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons (England) I was entered onto the General Dental Council’s Specialist Register in Periodontics. I have been accepting referrals for advanced periodontal care since 1996. I lecture both nationally and internationally on all aspects of Periodontology and Implantology.
I am an active member of the British Society of Periodontology (regional education representative), the American Academy of Periodontology and the Association of Dental Implantology.
